UN experts confirm:
LAND IS A KEY RESOURCE TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE

On August 8th, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published the first ever comprehensive look at the whole land and climate system. The conclusions of the Climate Change and Land report are alarming. Not only human pressure directly affects 70% of the global ice-free land surface. But land also suffers from accelerating climate change.

What are the consequences of intensified agriculture production on land and food security? How can better land management contribute to reduce GHG emissions? Is it too late to limit climate change and land degradation? Here are the 5 key facts and priority solutions from the IPCC report.
